How can we expect Our Mother... not to be sorrowful when the Roman Catholic Church Adminsitration not only has not even has learned from its most grave errors (1) but it continues to betray God at every turn?
The latest gems from the Opus Dei – the Power behind Benedict’s Throne...
The “face” of Opus Dei in the United Kingdom, Jack Valero, said: “Nobody knows anything
about religion in the UK”.
He complained that the Church has only raised £6.2m of its estimated £10m costs for the religious side of the historic state papal visit, while thousands of tickets for the open-air events remain unsold. Taxpayers also face a bill of at least £12m for the state parts such as a reception given by the Queen.
He predicted, However, that the cities the Pope will visit – London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow – would make such a “whopping profit” from the Pope’s presence and the large crowds he will attract that the controversy over the cost of the trip will evaporate.
Jack Valero claimed most people knew more about Paul Newman, the Hollywood actor, than Cardinal John Henry Newman, the Victorian theologian who will be beatified by Benedict XVI next week. (2)

The M+G+R Foundation comments: And we still hear, from time to time, the complaints that the influence of Christendom was not recognized in the European Union Constitution. Anyone who would objectively review European history since the RC Church went Imperial (3), through today, should wonder why, as the era of the alleged Enlightenment dawned upon Europe, the practice of Christianity in Europe was not forced into a system like the PRC has today.
Even though we uphold, and will until the end and the new beginning, that the Catholic Faith is the Faith which contains the most revealed truths and recognize and appreciate the immense Treasure of its Sacraments, we would fear for the health of the lions if its Administration were to be fed to them.
However, we must not forget that within that compost there are some very fine men and women —in the clergy, in religious orders and in the hierarchy— who would publicly agree with us, if they could. These poor individuals are caught in the cross-fire inside the Church and outside it while trying to serve God as He Wills to be served. We must all provide —without cease— prayerful support for them. They must know that their upright behavior and loyal service to God is welcome and appreciated by the Elect – regardless of the faith they may profess today.
If you desire to effectively console our suffering Mother today, and every day, all you have to (strive to) do is, as She clearly and unmistakably told m de P: Live the Gospel of My Son.

[The Triumph of the Cross]
To celebrate The Triumph of the Cross... we will share with our dear readers how easy it is to understand God, His Motives and Methods – something that has escaped Rome or that simply was never revealed to them (like the Secret Concept of the Trinity.)
The starting point is that God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. [Gen 1:27]
That is – whatever is good in man, whether it is a feeling like “love” or an instinct like “how to raise a child” is a direct reflection from God.
Now – take an offspring of yours whom you deeply love and for whom you want the best. Logically you will nurture its every step as it grows into adulthood. You will teach them what is good by example and what to avoid, because it has bad consequences, first by saying “No!” without further explanations. Then, “No, because I say so!” (the child has developed enough to comprehend now that “Mom and Dad know best”). Then, as the child becomes older and can understand more, the explanations become more elaborate “No, because this or that”.
Of course – for most humans there will be some instances where the reason will be “No, because God tells us so”, but, if the child has been brought up to respect the parent’s practical (not whimsical) wisdom, the child will accept the parent’s endorsement of God’s instructions.
All Divine Laws are simply the ultimate Parent’s —God’s— guidelines to raise His beloved children throughout the millennia.
Some Laws are Eternal – for example, the Ten Commandments. Others laws were given at a time when humans did not know any better but, as they “grew up” over the millennia, they no longer were necessary. Here is where you can see that, in some cases Jesus would say:
Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but
to fulfill. For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not
pass of the law, till all be fulfilled. [Matthew 5:17-18]
While in other cases He would say:
Because Moses by reason of the hardness of your heart permitted you to put away your wives: but
from the beginning it was not so. [Matt. 19:8]
or...
The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. [Mark
2:27]
Now, about sin... When an offspring rejects its parents’ guidelines and, without a doubt, will get into trouble – he/she will have a price to pay for the consequences of his/her obstinacy. When an offspring’s way of life is such that there is a separation (lack of frequent interaction, or a complete stoppage of contact) between him/her and the nurturing parents – the offspring’s problems and sufferings will multiply. The adult child will simply go from bad to worse, possibly until he dies.
The parents suffer but, what can they do? Their child is an adult with a free will and means to live it.
The situation is exactly the same with each one of us and God. The more dissonant our way of life becomes from what our most loving Parent has shown us, the further away we drift from Him; the further away we drift, the chances for everything going from bad to worse increase exponentially. If we get far enough, the consequence may also be death in this case— Eternal death.
That is what “sin” is all about. Do notice the parallel exhibited in the words of the prodigal son: I will arise, and will go to my father, and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee: [Luke 15:18]
That is – the prodigal son rejected (sinned) the loving guidance of his earthly father (“thee”) and the loving guidance, through Divine Laws, of his Heavenly Father.
Brethren – that’s it. Those are the great mysteries of God and His interaction with man.
He gave us religious texts – the “Instruction Book”. He sent prophets to explain what we just could not understand. He sent His Son to give one more “going over” of the Divine Laws and to clarify any parts of the “Instruction Book” that were misunderstood or we had “outgrown”, to give us the opportunity to return to a Paradisiacal state, and to heal the contrite heart [Luke 4:18]. He also shared with us a Mother, to Whom God will deny nothing [John 2:1-5], to remind us that we have recourse to Her prayers [Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee].
The whole Mystery of human-Divine interaction is indeed that simple!
Don’t we have more than enough reasons to celebrate today —and— for that matter, every day?
Have a truly Blessed Day!

No, it was not the imagination... of (Mr.) IW (see post of September 11, footnote (5b)) regarding the cordial relationship between Cardinal George Pell of Australia (Opus Dei) and Imam Abdul Rauf, the leader of the effort to build the divisive Mosque near the WTC site in New York City.
An alert cooperator shared with us the following April 2004 news report supporting (Mr.) IW’s claim:
[our highlights]
THE gentle quavering voice rang out across the vast sandstone interior of St Mary’s Catholic
Cathedral in Sydney.
“Bismillah irrahman irrahim” (in the name of Allah, the almighty and all-merciful God). With these words, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf set a milestone in inter-faith relations, becoming the first Muslim leader to address a congregation at the historic cathedral.
Watched by Cardinal George Pell, Imam Abdul Rauf — a leading moderate based at Masjid al-Farah mosque in New York City — told thousands of Jews, Christians, Muslims and Buddhists that people of different religions needed to work together to ensure world peace.
In the audience was the country’s most senior Muslim, the Mufti of Australia, Sheikh Taj Din al-Hilali, who was recently in trouble for his alleged support of Islamic fundamentalist terrorist group Hezbollah, and NSW Premier Bob Carr, who invited the imam to Australia.
After Cardinal Pell and Imam Abdul Rauf lit a candle together as a symbol of unity, the imam said economic prosperity and a sense of belonging was the key to discouraging radical Islam in Australia. (1)

As you will continue to see... in yet another unpublished-up-to-now letter (1) and follow-up Memorandum from “our vault”, miguel de Portugal was warning the then-Cardinal Ratzinger about the rampant sexual abuse within the Church as far back as 1997.
Incidentally, we do not have any doubt that our letters to the Vatican are read and acted upon – when it is to their advantage or when they need to defend themselves. We have had more than enough confirmation to make this statement.

Did you know that... Terry Jones, of the Gainesville Dove World Outreach Center, said the publicity he received bolstered his “mission” to bring attention to Islam’s “radical” elements?
“We feel we have accomplished our goal”, Jones said. “We feel that God has told us to
stop.”
The M+G+R Foundation comments: We pray that those who have Eyes to See and Ears to Hear learned far more important lessons than “to bring attention to Islam’s ‘radical’ elements”. The real lessons being that:
(a) The world media can create a firestorm at will using any puppet chosen to be the star and can
extinguish it in an instant too; and
(b) Those who control the media – control the world. Make no mistake.
(b) Those who control the media – control the world. Make no mistake.
There was no international major news agency —CNN, BBC, Sky News, Euronews, France 24, Al Jazeera— that did not saturate the world-wide airwaves with Terry Jones and his antics, and then, just like magic... not a word more. “Terry? Terry Jones who?”
Any news report is designed for a manipulative purpose, and it bears little resemblance to reality. Indeed, when a major news personality chooses “tell it like it is”, he/she will meet Dan Rather’s fate: the fate that Rather met when he dared to uncover the military service records of George W. Bush.
As we have said many times – unless the Holy Spirit of God is well anchored in one’s heart and soul and serve as guide and discerner... that soul does not have the proverbial prayer – period!

[The Holy Name of Mary]
As you will see... in another unpublished-up-to-now letter (1) (2) from “our vault”, God had been warning the Roman Catholic Church Administration, through miguel de Portugal, to stop and correct the sexual abuses within the Church since 1995 “or else”. As is usually the case with the arrogant and/or the stupid, they did not heed the warnings.
Over two billion dollars later —and only God knows what it will be when the “lid fully comes off” in Europe and South America— they just don’t seem to get it. The God they do not believe in, but Whom they peddle for a profit, will continue to settle accounts with them until “the last cent” is paid. As every warning is ignored by the Church Administration, the Mercy they are counting on continues to slip further away from their reach.

From (Mr.) IW @ US
No ordained Minister (of any faith) exists in a vacuum. Especially one who pastors a real, albeit small, congregation with a physical building and other tangible operations. He must belong to a conference or group of a denomination, or of multiple faiths as well as to various secular or religious community/regional groups.
Somebody is ‘keeping him in furs’, as the saying goes. His daily bread (or Lear jet) is funded by other humans, who support, cooperate, enable (and control) his ‘ministry’. This applies to all Ministers: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Those who serve God are given their Daily Bread from Him. Those who serve Evil are fed from another source.
Were I Ian Fleming (author of the James Bond series – and a former MI-5 member) I could not have invented a better character then Pastor Terry Jones (1) of the Dove World Outreach Center (2) in Gainesville, Florida. Compartmentalization and Plausible Deniability are the hallmarks of a sophisticated Intelligence operation. As is the use of the media to publicize it.
The pastor of a tiny, independent church could not possibly have any ties to Opus Dei... much less the Vatican itself nor to various religious and secular Cooperators. (3 a, 3 b, 3 c). Nobody would ever believe that. Hence the demonic brilliance of using such a person.
If one wanted to trigger a gang war, one would hire someone to do it, via a 3rd or 4th party employer. Leaving no direct link to the penultimate paymaster. Whether the ‘trigger’ is by rhetoric, symbolic action, or direct violence is irrelevant. As long as it achieves its desired goal:
Terrorism... retaliatory violence... a nuclear exchange... global societal collapse and panic. One has to look carefully to spot the ‘footprints’ of an Opus Dei-like operation, but they are there.
Far more obvious is the connection between Opus Dei elements and Imam Abdul Rauf (4), the leader of the effort to build the divisive Mosque near the WTC site in New York City. The Imam’s closeness to Cardinal George Pell of Australia (Opus Dei), who is also very close to Ratzinger (5a, 5b) is also very curious.
One also might wonder why a Muslim cleric and religious scholar, from a family of the same, would have an advanced degree in plasma physics, from a prominent engineering university.
The pretense of detachment between the Protestant and Catholic Charismatic/Pentecostal elements (6) is a rather flimsy veneer. Yet many either ignore it or remain blind to it. We find the members/friends of Opus Dei littered through it. Both its Protestant and Catholic elements have been a butterfly net – to ensnare those disaffected from the Catholic Church and from “liberal” Protestantism. It explains much of the exodus from the pews of mainline Protestant churches... into the Charismatic/Pentecostal/Fundamentalist groups.
Thus neatly into the hands of Satan, who uses these elements to ensnare into Fanaticism and spiritual deception... to prepare them for faith in the False Christ. In the same modality of the various ‘groups’ within the Catholic Church.
So, the next time you see, read, or hear of one of these preachers, churches or ‘groups’, the key question to ask is not “Who is this”, but rather: “Who is paying for this?”. Multi-million dollar ministries are not paid for by the pennies of blue haired little old ladies. (7)
One could perceive this as a manifestation of Mao Tse-Tung’s famous saying (8): “Let a hundred flowers bloom; let a hundred schools of thought contend. ...”. Provided that you are employing the gardeners via 4th party sources.

Did you wonder what... our position is regarding the head of the Gainesville, Florida, sect who plans to burn copies of the Qur’an (Koran) on the 11th of September? Do you think that we would recommend doing something —like prayer— that may stop such a provocative act? If you do, you are wrong.
Here is what we all should do: (a) Pray for him – his conversion and illumination by the Holy Spirit; and, even more important, (b) Pray that the Will of God be fulfilled regarding this issue.
Why? Do you really know which is the option that best fits the plans of God in order to minimize the suffering of the world, while Divine Justice is dispensed and prophecy fulfilled?
Imagine what would have happened if there had been a number of individuals praying so that Judas would not betray Jesus and His crucifixion would be avoided.
This has been the problem of Christianity for most of the 2,000 years of its history. We Christians pray for what we think is the best option and completely ignore and disregard what would be the choice of God – the Will of God (1). Think about it!

Do you wonder what... is Fidel Castro up to with his latest “bombastic declaration”?
To wit:
Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine, asked Castro if Cuba’s
economic system was still worth exporting to other countries, and Castro replied: “The Cuban
model doesn’t even work for us anymore”, Goldberg wrote Wednesday in a post on his Atlantic
blog. (1)
The M+G+R Foundation comments:
With Fidel Castro alive, his brother Raul could not reverse the course Fidel has championed for fifty years. The orthodox revolutionaries would not allow Raul Castro to get away with it. Remember – Fidel is like a living saint of sorts for the orthodox revolutionaries.
Therefore, if Fidel admits a mistake (a mistake which he will, sooner or later, nail on someone else) that frees his brother to start making the much needed changes.
In case that we have neglected informing you (since by no fault of our own the proverbial cat is out of the bag in Havana (2)) the “resurrection” of Fidel Castro was the result of his being presented, in January 2010, with a personal letter accompanied by personalized print of our document titled: The Cuban Castro Regime and How It Has Been Used By Others For Their NWO Agendas (3) with the key links at the end of the document identified to assist him in accessing the rest of the information.

Did you know that... the symbolic fulfillment of a prophecy is not something foreign to the Holy Scriptures?
As the Gospel reading for the September 8th Mass showed (1), the genealogy of Jesus is traced all the way from Abraham to Joseph, showing His Abrahamic and Davidic lineage... yet Joseph had nothing to do with the conception of Jesus. Joseph was only the symbolic father of Jesus but, in such circumstances, the symbolism was sufficient to fulfill the paternal (2) prophecy of the genealogy of the Messiah.

Did you think that... only political power brokers, money hungry multinationals, and investment houses engage in conspiracies – activities which are promptly denied by the vox populi as “Just another conspiracy theory”? (1)
Take a look at what some very well known and well placed British “scientists” and “known faces” did:
The “Piltdown Man” is a famous Anthropological hoax concerning the finding of the remains of a
previously unknown early human. The hoax find consisted of fragments of a skull and jawbone
collected in 1912 from a gravel pit at Piltdown, a village near Uckfield, East Sussex,
England.
The finding of the Piltdown skull was poorly documented, but at a meeting of the Geological Society of London held on December 18, 1912, Charles Dawson claimed to have been given a fragment of the skull four years earlier by a workman at the Piltdown gravel pit.
The fragments were thought by many experts of the day to be the fossilised remains of a hitherto unknown form of early man. The Latin name Eoanthropus dawsoni (“Dawson’s dawn-man”, after the collector Charles Dawson) was given to the specimen.
The identity of the Piltdown forger remains unproved, but suspects have included Dawson, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Arthur Keith, Martin A. C. Hinton, Horace de Vere Cole and Arthur Conan Doyle as well as numerous others.
The Piltdown hoax is perhaps the most famous paleontological hoax in history. It has been prominent for two reasons: the attention paid to the issue of human evolution, and the length of time (more than 40 years) that elapsed from its discovery to its full exposure as a forgery.

With more than 129 active volcanoes to watch in this vast archipelago, local volcanologists had

It has erupted again in its most powerful eruption since awakening last week from four centuries of dormancy.
Some witnesses at the foot of Mount Sinabung reported seeing an orange glow — presumably magma — in cracks along the volcano’s slopes for the first time.

Oh, yes... those ever watchful and “almighty” scientists. The same people who were caught by surprise when the BP rig blew up and filled the Gulf of Mexico with crude oil, or when the rain swept 20 million Pakistanis off their land, or when Guatemala was buried in mud, or when Port-au-Prince (Haiti) was reduced to rubble by an earthquake. If the coming holocaust risks reducing civilization to something like Neolithic times, how will we be able to access the post-nuclear web site you have prepared?
I guess what I’m saying is to see if there’s a way you could get the key information out beforehand, or find some other way to make sure the message can spread.

A. Thank you for asking. First of all – from the nuclear holocaust to the Neolithic times there is a finite period. Imagine the nuclear holocaust being when it started raining in Noah’s story (1a) (1b). There was a finite period from the beginning to the completion of the cataclysm.
Secondly – as we have said many times before, we have already published all that is needed to safely navigate through the End of These Times. All we do now is: (a) remind; (b) explain in different ways what has already been revealed; (c) encourage; and (d) illustrate with world events that “this is for real”. Any new information, like the Time Line of Creation (2), is just a bonus from God, although it also serves as a reminder and a source of encouragement.
That post-nuclear publication will be essentially our last attempt to: (a) remind all of what we have said in the past (with the links to those pages); (b) remind all that, if the nuclear holocaust has happened (a holocaust that no one believed it would happen when we announced it nearly 20 years ago), all else that we have announced will happen too; and (c) encourage people by reminding all to not despair, that this is not the end of the world.
From the point of the nuclear holocaust on, the internet will start to fail by sections (areas). Hopefully our documents will be reachable for some time depending on the part of the world the request is made from and to which of our servers the request was made.
We hope that our answer has been clear and satisfactory. If not, let us know.

One must wonder if... there is any relation between the —obviously requested by God— Novena to St. Michael the Archangel (see the FYI & R posting for September 6th) and the fact that the star Draco the Dragon was highlighted as one of the “Top 10 Summer Sky Objects to See Before Fall”? (1)
While most folks are familiar with the Big and Little Dipper, in the same region of the sky is a
long, winding group of stars which portrays the mythological creature of a dragon named Draco,
which during late evening hours is riding high above Polaris, the North Star.
Draco is a very ancient star grouping. The earliest Sumerians considered these stars to represent
the dragon Tiamat. Later it became one of the creatures that Hercules killed. One of Draco’s
tasks was to guard the garden of Hesperides and its golden apples that Hercules was supposed to
retrieve.
The Dragon’s head is the most conspicuous part of Draco.

They, of course, are taking care of their bottom line and using the Bible and the speaker’s name (Iris Cross) to make it look like God is on their side.
Just my opinion.

(Mrs.) IW
A. That sounds like an idea straight out of Madison Avenue. No conspiracy; no theory – just dishonest marketing.
Which makes us ponder: How much subliminal advertising have they already done? That would be an outright conspiracy to brainwash.
If an inventor would (quickly, of course!) come up with a way to detect subliminal messaging on any kind of image transmission (TV, movie, Home Videos, etc.), the invention would outsell any electronic gadget in today’s market. But, then again, humans have shown the preference for being deceived than for facing reality (2), which, of course, is logical for those whose faith in God is only window dressing.
Thank you for sharing this with all.
(1) Matthew 25: 35-38 – For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

Did you know that... a sober article in a US-based Jewish publication states that an Israeli attack on Iran is not imminent? (1)
The M+G+R Foundation comments:
The article by Yossi Alpher is one of the most sober evaluations of this situation that we have seen. His logic is solid and his conclusions, based on the same logic, are just as solid.
Therefore —considering the almost 100% record of the world leaders in recent times, where “If there is a choice between a sound and logical option and the worst possible option, the latter is chosen”— all indications continue to point to an attack on Iran sooner than later.

Did you hear that... in an unusually blunt warning, the U.N. atomic agency said Monday that its monitoring of Iran’s nuclear activities is being hampered because Tehran objects to giving some agency inspectors access to its program? (1)
The complaint by the International Atomic Energy Agency was made in a restricted report on Iran
made available to The Associated Press. It follows Iran’s recent decision to strip two
experienced inspectors of the right to monitor Tehran’s nuclear activities after the two
reported undeclared nuclear experiments.
The Islamic Republic says the reporting by the two was inaccurate, but the IAEA stands by the findings.
Objections by Iran to some experienced inspectors “hampers the inspection process and thereby detracts from the Agency’s capability to implement effective and efficient safeguards in Iran”, the document said.

[Feast of St. Michael the Archangel – Orthodox
Liturgical Calendar]
An invitation to prayer...
We have been clearly moved to invite you to join in a special novena to St. Michael the Archangel, whose Feast day, according to the Orthodox Liturgical Calendar, is on September 6th.
The novena is to consist of the prayer of the chaplet of St. Michael —one item per day— for nine consecutive days, starting on September 6th.
There is to be a key variation on the prayers – and this is very important. For example, the first set reads:
1. .By the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel and the celestial Choir of
Seraphim, may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen!
(Our Father, 3 Hail Mary)
The variation will be highlighted in bold blue below:
1. .By the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel and the celestial Choir of
Seraphim, may the Lord make me
worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen! (Our Father, 3 Hail
Mary)
For your convenience we reproduce the entire chaplet below with the instructions and changes...
Every day the novena is begun by praying the following invocation:
O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father, to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit now and ever and unto ages of ages – Amen!
Each day we pray only one of the nine invocations below – sequentially. That is, invocation 9. should be prayed on Day 9. After the invocation we should offer one Our Father, Three Hail Mary and the concluding prayers that you will find at the end.
Day 1. .By the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel and the celestial Choir of
Seraphim, may the Lord make me
worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity. Amen! (Our Father, 3 Hail Mary)

(*) A total of four Our Fathers per day
The Chaplet is concluded with the following Prayers
To Michael the Archangel
O Glorious Prince St. Michael the Archangel, chief and commander of the Heavenly Hosts, guardian
of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the House of the Divine King, and our admirable
conductor, thou who dost shine with excellence and superhuman virtue, vouchsafe to deliver
me from all evil, who turn to thee with
confidence, and enable me by thy gracious
protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

me worthy,
I beseech Thee, to be delivered from all
my enemies that none of them may harass
me at the hour of
my death, but that
I may be conducted by him into the august
presence of Thy Divine Majesty. This I beg

[Feast day of Zachariah and Elizabeth – parents
of John the Baptizer]
Did you know that... there was a mystery religion centered on the god Mithras that became popular among the military in the Roman Empire, from the 1st to 4th centuries AD? (1)
[our underscoring]
Information on the cult is based mainly on interpretations of the many surviving
monuments.
The most characteristic of these are depiction of Mithras as being born from a rock, and as sacrificing a bull. His worshippers had a complex system of seven grades of initiation, with ritual meals. They met in underground temples, which survive in large numbers.
The mysteries of Mithras were not practiced until the 1st century AD. The unique underground temples or Mithraea appear suddenly in the archaeology in the last quarter of the first century AD.
The first important expansion of the mysteries in the Empire seems to have happened quite quickly. Mithraism reached the apogee of its popularity during the 2nd and 3rd centuries, spreading at an “astonishing” rate at the same period when Sol Invictus became part of the state cult.
It is difficult to trace when the religion of Mithras came to an end. Beck states that “Quite early in the [fourth] century the religion was as good as dead throughout the empire.”
Little else is known for certain.

The M+G+R Foundation comments:
Needless to say many “learned” individuals —fundamentally anti Christian— have concluded that Christianity was fashioned after this pagan cult because of the timing and the existence of a complex system of initiation, with ritual meals, and meeting in underground temples. Historically speaking, even without a spiritual dimension, reality flies in the face of these critics.
Mithraism seems to have been a good-old-boys club for the Roman ruling elite while, during that same precise period, Christianity was composed very much of men and women who were widely persecuted and were certainly not members of the elite (with very rare exceptions). The Christians met underground to escape their persecutors and not because of “mysteries”. One thing they both had in common was an astonishing rate of expansion.
Obviously Christianity won. Otherwise Constantine’s “conversion” would have been to Mithraism, instead of to Christianity, to bring cohesion to his failing Empire.
The real influence of Mithraism came about when Christianity “went Imperial” (2) by becoming the official religion of the Empire in the 4th century. The metamorphosis of a Jesus oriented religion to a Caesar oriented religion began. God gave the warning sign then, a sign which probably went unnoticed until now.
About 170 years after the Council of Nicea, during the papacy of Gelasius I (492-496 A.D), (3) the temporal power of the Church was cemented. He instituted the Code to make rites and ceremonies uniform. He maintained the supremacy of the Church over that of the Kings. At this time, the mitre becomes an essential piece for the priest to use during religious ceremonies.
It is now that the parallels between the Imperial Church and Mithraism begin. The Church had become a “good-old-boys club” and the elite had swarmed it to be in the graces of the Emperor. All that was needed now was a symbolic tie and Gelasius saw to it. The word for “mitre” in Latin is “mitra” and we do not need to point out the parallel between a “mitra” and the god “Mithras” who came out from a “rock”. As a paralell, remember the invention (4) of Peter being the rock upon the church was built.
It seems that those who equate a “mitre wearing” individual with the event wherein “...saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns, like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.” [Rev. 13:11] do not seem to be very far from the symbolic truth, do they?
Flashing back to our post of September 1st – which we quote below in its entirety:
Did you know that... the use of mitres in the personal coat of arms of cardinals and
bishops was banned by an instruction of the Holy See in 1969 during the Pontificate of Paul VI?

Who hasn’t heard that... Stephen Hawking said that God did not create the Universe? (1)
The Universe created itself from nothing, says Prof Hawking. There is no place for God in theories
of the creation of the Universe, Professor Stephen Hawking has said.
He had previously argued that belief in a creator was not incompatible with science, but in a new book, he concludes the Big Bang was an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics. The Grand Design, part serialised in the Times, says there is no need to invoke God to set the Universe going.
“Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something”, he concluded. In his 1988 bestseller, A Brief History of Time, Prof Hawking had appeared to accept the role of God in the creation of the Universe. “If we discover a complete theory, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason – for then we should know the mind of God”, he said then.

The M+G+R Foundation comments:
As our readers know, we espouse —without a shred of a doubt— the truth that we are here due to an evolutionary process guided by the Hand of God, the Creator. (2) (3)
But let us address, once and for all, the Creation Without a God peddlers.
Let us take their full position and pretend that all “just happened” in a random process developing over billions of years. Let us assume that, over the entire period, the survival of the fittest ruled the development of life. That is, physical and psychological traits that were not needed were eliminated from each developing species.
The atheists do not mince words when they argue, mockingly, that man’s religiosity is an invention of man’s mind. However, prehistoric, historic and archeological finds, accomplished mostly by scientists, indicate that human religiosity is universal, and can be traced back as far as the earliest prehistoric times. If, as the militant atheist scientists claim, God does not exist: why then, has man not evolved out of such “silliness” as the need to have a god?
If the atheists would answer: “Because man needs that crutch”, we would counter with: “Crutches —physical and emotional— are evolved out of through the survival of the fittest principle”. It is that simple.
As a matter of fact – man’s religiosity has increased and has become more sophisticated over the millennia. This is completely contrary to the godless-evolution theories. Instead of slowly disappearing, as if it were a physically useless appendage, human religiosity has continued to develop to an ever-increasing level of sophistication.
We understand Professor Hawking’s position, however. He is fitting the Universe to his reality. Anyone with his tragic physical dysfunction, who does not have an understanding of how God works and why, must deny God; otherwise, because of their condition, they would have to consider themselves rejected by God.
Remember when a man is madly in love with a certain woman and she rejects him, he will eventually, out of spite, negate any good traits that she may possess and that he almost adored before. If he could simply blot her out of the world (and get away with it), he would. (This, of course, applies just the same when the rejected one is the woman.)
That is what Professor Hawking has done with God.

It is an ongoing struggle to remain focused on the Will of God, since that is unnatural to a human. What makes it easier for me is that there is essentially nothing else of interest for me besides His Will. Everything pales before God and His Will.
That death of self is what God meant when He told Moses: Thou canst not see my face: for man shall not see me and live. [Exodus 33:20]
The struggle lies in making sure that no self influence colors (in any way) what we publish in His Name. For example... Personally, the greatest joy I feel every new day is that “I have one less day to wait before I can go Home!” This could be construed as a death wish – which it certainly is not. However, that enthusiasm could incorrectly color what I must announce in His Name. Incidentally – it is precisely the burning desire to go Home soon that inflames anew my desire to fulfill His Will on each new day, to the extent He has ordained from all Eternity. When I go Home I want to have my hands filled with everything He wanted me to bring to Him.
We will now reproduce below an excerpt from a letter from a dear friend of The M+G+R Foundation to give a face to our main “ongoing struggle”. This brother wrote:
After some time, I was moved to analyze and prioritize all the influences in my life and
options before me, and find which ones were positive, and negative. The answer came back very
clear, not to give in to the nostalgia,... I also prioritized as negative influences my dwelling
too much on the apocalyptic or totalitarian regimes.
Not that it is incorrect, but I had come to dwell on it too much. That includes your messages, though please don’t consider that I’m putting you together with the self-serving sites that are out there. Again, I still read what you say, usually every day. But in trying to reduce the amount of time I let my imagination dwell on the negative, I have limited myself to reading.

But in trying to reduce the amount of time I let my imagination dwell on the negative, I have limited myself to reading.
How can we alert those who have Eyes to See and Ears to Hear without “calling a spade, a spade”? It is impossible. Have you noticed the grave contents of Marian Messages (1) since the 19th century?
The ultimate in gravity is that Our Lady could not even bear telling Her own concluding message directly to the children in Garabandal (*) ; She sent Michael the Archangel to do it on Her behalf. Keep in mind that She personally delivered Her most grave messages in La Salette (2) and Fatima (3), yet the concluding message of Garabandal was just too much for Her to deliver personally.
(*) As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not
been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was
filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road
to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the
Eucharist. You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask His
forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your mother, through the intercession
(intervention) of St. Michael the Archangel , ask you to amend your lives. You are now
receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to Us
with sincerity and We will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the
passion of Jesus. (4)
After receiving the letter quoted above, I sought His confirmation or the correction of our course of action. He confirmed our current course of action.
Then, how can those who have Ears to Hear and Eyes to See function on a day to day basis with the knowledge that maybe tomorrow he/she may be wearing a loin cloth at best? In the same way we all must function with the absolute certainty that we will eventually die —in ten minutes or ten years— but we will all die physically. Do not dwell on it, just as our dear friend found out. Dwell on being ready to go Home at any time, while fulfilling your God given responsibilities on Earth to the best of your abilities. You are here for a purpose, remember?
Without being aware of it we —under the guidance of God— ended up publishing two regular pages: (a) For Your Information and Reference – the “World Reality Checks”; and (b) Divine Encouragement – the encouragement, instructions and reminder of the One Who is waiting Home for us. They are “made for each other” as the saying goes.
The days when the “World Reality Checks” are getting the best of you (something that is very normal), increase your prayers and the time that you devote to meditating on the Holy Scriptures and the Divine Encouragements. (5)
Believe me – it really works. I have lived in a Gethsemane-like situation 24/7 for almost 20 years. At times, under conditions which I find hard to believe that I survived, yet, I have slept in peace and without the proverbial “worry in the world”. (6)
I pray that we have been able to help our readers to maintain an even keel and proper direction in the midst of a roaring storm.

Did you know that... religiosity is the highest in world’s poorest nations? (1)
[our highlights]
Gallup surveys in 114 countries in 2009 show that religion continues to play an important role in
many people’s lives worldwide. The global median proportion of adults who say religion is an
important part of their daily lives is 84%, unchanged from what Gallup has found in
other years. In 10 countries and areas, at least 98% say religion is important in their daily
lives.
Each of the most religious countries is relatively poor, with a per-capita GDP below $5,000. This reflects the strong relationship between a country’s socioeconomic status and the religiosity of its residents. In the world’s poorest countries —those with average per-capita incomes of $2,000 or lower— the median proportion who say religion is important in their daily lives is 95%. In contrast, the median for the richest countries —those with average per-capita incomes higher than $25,000— is 47%.
The United States is one of the rich countries that bucks the trend. About two-thirds of Americans —65%— say religion is important in their daily lives. Among high-income countries, only Italians, Greeks, Singaporeans, and residents of the oil-rich Persian Gulf states are more likely to say religion is important.

The M+G+R Foundation comments:
Before we, in the US, Italy, Greece, et., start bottling our perspiration to sell it as Holy Water let us have a massive Reality Check.
First of all – “religiosity” and “living one’s faith” are two very, very different things. Therefore, the above Gallup data reflects reality when they report:
(a) That the global median has remained unchanged from other years since they are comparing the
same numbers. The difference between “religiosity” and “living one’s faith” does not
matter for this comparison.
(b) That each of the most religious countries is relatively poor, with a per-capita GDP below $5,000. We know that “Pain is the megaphone that God uses for the deaf to hear”. (2) It works well, and that Jesus assured us that: Blessed are the poor in spirit (3): for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. etc. [Matt. 5:3-10]
(c) The progressive drop in “religiosity” as per-capita income drops.

Therefore, the one overwhelming conclusion that can be drawn is that indeed: Pain/suffering/need is an effective gateway to make God an integral part of one’s life; and, when such a good connection is made and maintained, what Jesus tells us through Matthew will naturally come to pass.
Therefore – if you were God and someone brought those statistics to you confirming what you already knew – what would you do to minimize the loss of souls from the more affluent nations?
Well, as we have been announcing, that is exactly what He is going to do before the Grand Finale.
Tragically, in spite of recent almost incredible events obviously crafted to get the most attention and cause much suffering but very few deaths (which is something very final) – such as massive earthquakes (4) devastating entire cities – Italy – Haiti – Chile, for example, volcanoes shutting down major air space for days, floods of quasi biblical proportions (ask any Pakistani or Chinese about that), a massive meltdown of the world economic system, droughts of quasi biblical proportions and fires in extensive areas of various countries of the world – people are not responding as they should.
Therefore, God must proceed to the next stage. Stay tuned...

“But wait a minute!”... some may have thought... “Do you think that you at MGR are going to just gloss over the fact that «The United States is one of the rich countries that bucks the trend» without even an honorable mention?”
To which we respond: “We thought you’d never ask! Thank you for doing so!”
No, it is not a fluke that the people of the US buck that trend, nor is an indication of hypocrisy in the part of the people of the US. The people of the US are probably amongst the most charitable in the world – and charity is amongst the greatest of virtues for all three monotheistic religions. Therefore, generally speaking, the people of the US do more than just talk about God.
You see, the problem is that we are a “Virtual Democracy”. In the US people think that they (“we”, to be correct) are really in control but, as we have said many times, the “power behind the throne” —those who really run the country regardless of the will of the people— are the ones who are accruing for “we the people” the charges which appear in the Invoice God will present the US soon. The problem is not the people, to whom religion truly plays an important role; the problem is the behind-the-scenes government that has commandeered the greatest Democracy in the world.
What happens if a politician stands up to those “Established Interests” and will not “dance to their music”? You may want to ask John F. and Robert Kennedy (1) after you cross the veil...
Providentially today we came across an article (2) which (while we acknowledge the source as an anti-US biased one) gives a good general overview of the true governance of the US – which is not much different from that of the other Western Powers. It might be worth your while to look it over and better understand how our Virtual Democracy works. For an in depth and more objective exposé of said Virtual Democracy we recommend Lee Penn’s The Twilight of Freedom (3).

Have you noticed... how well the trapped Chilean miners are working together and harmonizing with each other – even individuals who have had strong differences in the past?
Well, God has noticed such behavior too, a behavior which has given Him some great ideas on how
assist humanity in burying the proverbial hatchet and work with each other in harmony again.

Did you know that... the use of mitres in the personal coat of arms of cardinals and bishops was banned by an instruction of the Holy See in 1969 during the Pontificate of Paul VI? (1)
[our underscoring]
yet...
...Benedict XVI decided to replace the tiara in his official personal coat of arms with a simple mitre which is not, therefore, surmounted by a small globe and cross as was the tiara.
Until the reign of Benedict XVI the papal tiara had been one of the ornaments surrounding the personal coat of arms of all popes for a millennium. In a controversial break with tradition, on the first version of Benedict’s personal coat of arms the tiara was replaced with the papal mitre, though the mitre did contain three levels reminiscent of a three tiers on the papal tiara. Do you remember... the controversial statement of Pope Paul VI in a homily he delivered on June 29, 1972:
Referring to the situation of the Church today, the Pope says that he has the feeling that
“from some fissure the smoke of Satan has entered the temple of God.” There is doubt,
uncertainty, problems, restlessness, dissatisfaction, confrontation.
the original (1) being:

The M+G+R Foundation comments: The reader is probably wondering: “So? What could be their connection? Aren’t you comparing apples with oranges?” To which we respond: “Be patient – all will become shockingly clear soon”.
Notes
(1) If you are a new visitor, you may get the idea (from what you may read on this page) that we are part of what is known as the “liberal movement” within Catholicism. We strongly suggest that you first review our positions regarding the Pristine Catholic Faith (we said “Faith” and not “Church Administration”), RC Church Administration, Only Possible Changes Within the RCC Allowed by God and Our Function.
(2) If you prefer to evaluate positions using the “liberal”, “moderate” and “conservative” labels, we would fall in the “practicing conservative” group, without the fanaticism which most “talking conservatives” exhibit. The difference between “practicing conservative” and “talking conservative” is that the first strives to live what Jesus Christ taught, while the second one, the “talking conservative”, just talks about the faith and practices just enough for others to see.
